ABOUT OUR

MINISTRIES

God gave us all passions and gifts that He wants us to use for His service. When we serve God with our gifts, we point others towards Him. New Jerusalem has plenty of opportunities for you to serve.  Please check out our current ministries below and click the join button and send us an email with your name, preferred email address and the ministry you are interested in joining.  Thanks!

Children's Ministry

Our goal is to help make each and every Sunday School hour the best time of a child's week! Through Bible stories, creative activities, and worship, children discover God’s love for them.

Every 2nd Sunday we honor our children with a youth-led worship experience. There will be singing, prayer, and an inspirational message tailored just for the children.  During the offertory, the children gather in the Kidz Zone for small group activities and discussions. The focus of this service is to help children grow spiritually and foster an excellent view of God and the Church.

Adult Sunday School

Our Adult classes are relevant for today. The Sunday School curriculum offers fresh, theologically sound content, easy-to-read layouts and designs. We provide additional study opportunities beyond the lessons, as well as thought provoking applications that challenge the values of our culture.

Hospitality Ministry

We are the face of the Church to those who God sends our way.  Our role is to help guests and members feel the love of God by truly welcoming them into the house of the Lord through friendly, authentic and compassionate care and service.  Our ministry consists of the culinary team, greeters, parking lot host and ushers.

Outreach Ministry

We reach out to all of Gods lost sheep, and those that are less fortunate by spreading God's love and Word through efforts, such as: clothing the homeless, feeding the hungry (spiritually & physically), visiting the sick and shut-in (hospitals, nursing homes & prisons), organize clothing drives, distribute daily devotionals, and organize community outreach functions.

Evangelism Ministry

We’re called as followers of Christ to share His message of hope and love, leading others to a life-changing personal relationship with Him. Christ calls us to share His promise of eternal love in and outside the church, so that others can do the same.

Transportation Ministry

To increase the opportunities for individuals, particularly those with limited access to personal transportation, to regularly attend church.
